UIC (International Union of Railways), TCDD ( Turkish State Railways) and CMSProject are currently preparing the 10th UIC World Congress on High Speed Rail planned in May 2018 in Ankara, Turkey. During this Congress, some parallel sessions will be held, occupying 5-time slots in the program (to be finalized). 

Call for Papers launched on 01 September 2017 and closed on 17 November 2017

Due to the demands the Congress Office had received from our colleagues, the Congress Organizing Committee has set the 17th of November as the new deadline for abstract submission. Meanwhile, the evaluation process for the abstracts submitted so far has started.

Deadline for late abstract submission was on 17 November 2017 at 24:00 (CET).


Organization of the parallel sessions (tentative)

The parallel sessions will be held in 5 different rooms respectively dedicated to the following Topics:

- Infrastructure
- Railway systems
- Operations & Stations
- Trains
- Commercial & Economy & Society

Each Topic will be developed according to 5 successive Stages relating to the planning, the design, the construction, the operations & maintenance and finally the ex-post evaluation including the socio-economic and environmental aspects.

This leads to the following organization which may evolve according to the number and the quality of the Abstracts relating to each Topic and Stage.
